Vince Flynn books, best one so far... Consent to Kill
It's #7 in the Mitch Rapp series, and #8 overall, counting Term Limits. This one captured me. It really brought home the effects of duty to country, and what it can mean to a family. I know it's fiction, but the best fiction is the type that is considered close to true, or at least easy to believe.
Vince really outdid himself in character development in this one. This one read just like a Clancy novel. I couldn't put it down, and I highly recommend it to anyone liking the techno thriller genre of books. I hope Vince has better stuff in store for later tomes, as I've thoroughly enjoyed the ones I've read so far. I got the wife stuck on the series too, as she has to listen to the audiobooks in the car when we are on trips.
