Included in the plan is the phrase "off-ramps", in case things aren't going his way in 6 months. Then he can get out quickly.

I'm stunned at the audacity of this man. He knows more than McChrystal? And taking 6 months to tell him he can have 85% of what he asked for.

What a jerk. Elections have consequences, remember that. Especially in 2010, when midterms come around.

I know it's late, but this bothers me. If you are after transparency, why are you passing bills on a Saturday night?  Seems like it's business as usual, in Congress and in Washington DC.

I'd be interested in hearing an explanation for this.

Worth the attention? I think so, kinda like the Contract with America. Seems that was linked to something that was quite successful for Republicans. Could the RNC figure it out? Time will tell.

Color me unsurprised. Couldn't get on the ticket as a Democrat, so she ran as a Republican. Never mind she was a Republican, her views were Democrat.

Being from a purple state, I can't imagine what the political views must be like in NY to call Dede a Republican.  I'm more used to Republicans like Tom Latham and Steve King.
