Interesting, when the Iowa Democratic machine is lecturing on Conservatism
Terry Branstad is running for a second set of term as Iowa's governor. He left us with a surplus, money in the bank, and a pretty good set of economic circumstance. Although judging by recent ads, you would think he was Obama or a far lefty. Iowans for Responsible Government is running TV and print ads against the former governor, bleating about his lefty record (complete BS, in my opinion, as they are spinning positions he holds to their advantage).
Seems that the caretaker of the group is one Rob Tully, former Iowa Democratic Party chairman (source : RadioIowa). Let me get this straight, Iowa Democrats lecturing the last successful governor on his conservatism. Yeah, let me know how that works out for you.
I know many libs, being from a college town. And a lot of them are voting Branstad, just because of his fiscal record. Great job, Chester Culver! You have alienated your base!
